Rick Knapp

Rick graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in English History, a BBA in Finance, and an MBA. He worked in the oil and gas industry for 14 years for Amoco Production Co. He has worked for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club and has served as the executive director of the University of Oklahoma Touchdown Club for the past 33 seasons. 

Rick is the past president of both Healthy Schools Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. He currently chairs the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute and is serving his second term as the president of the Oklahoma State Medical Association Alliance. Rick is also involved in following medical legislation within the State of Oklahoma. 

Rick is married to Teresa Shavney, MD, an Associate Professor in the division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Oklahoma. Rick and Teresa have four children: Kolin Knapp, MD, is an Emergency Medicine physician in Flagstaff, AZ. Kristin is an environmental engineer in the oil and gas industry. Kellye is a pediatric pulmonary nurse in Connecticut. Karoline owns Marlow and Miller, a balloon company.
