Libby White has served the community for many years as an active volunteer and board member for the Junior League of Lubbock (TX), Lubbock County Medical Society Alliance, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Ronald McDonald House Charities, among others. She joined the Lubbock County Medical Society Alliance in 2009 and served as its president in 2010 before going on to serve on the board of TMAA.

She received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in International Trade from the University of Central Oklahoma. She and her husband, Steven White, MD, a radiologist, have called Lubbock home for 17 years.

Libby and her 13-year-old son, Deklan, share a love of history, and together they have a goal of traveling to every state capitol before his high school graduation. A decorated competitive shotgun shooter, Libby serves as an instructor and the coach for the Texas Tech Trap and Skeet team and, along with her husband, frequently travels to compete in state- and national-level competitions.
