Racheal Kunesh hails from North Carolina but is Midwestern at heart, having grown up on an Iowa farm. After completing her tenure as president of the North Carolina Medical Society Alliance, she has contributed her energy at the national level for the past ten years. Racheal has served on boards and committees for the Cabarrus Public Health Interest, North Carolina Physician Health Program, Community Free Clinic, CMC Northeast Hospital Foundation, and multiple booster organizations in support of her children. She enjoys connecting with others to accomplish great things while having fun and building lifelong friendships in the process. Racheal is employed as a process engineer with Celgard, a manufacturer of separators used in lithium ion batteries. When not at work, she enjoys playing horn and playing in the dirt. Racheal and her internal medicine husband Ben are empty nesters and recently relocated to Lake Norman where they are occasionally visited by their three college-aged children.
