Heather Rifkin, PharmD
Past President

Heather A. Rifkin is a pharmacist who has found a way to marry her professional work with her passion for service and promoting healthy communities. For over 15 years, her volunteer work at the local, state and national levels has prepared her for her role as President of the AMA Alliance in 2021-2022. Heather received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Duquesne University and enjoys finding innovative ways to use her degree to positively impact those around her. Her spouse, Dr. Brian Rifkin, is an interventional nephrologist in Hattiesburg Mississippi where they reside with their 2 children. You can find her enthusiastically supporting her children at their show choir, speech & debate, tae kwon do or theatre performances. Although she is semi-retired to raise her family, Heather has found personal and professional fulfillment throughout her alliance journey. To find out more about how the alliance can positively impact your life contact her at pastpresident@amaalliance.org.
